Accurate stock counts and impartial valuations for retailers, licensed premises, postmasters and warehouse operators. Fixed prices agreed before we attend, and your figures the same day.
We have no stake in the outcome, which is exactly why both sides of a business transfer can rely on the figure we produce.
Your valuation is issued on the day of the count, not a week later. Completion dates rarely wait for paperwork.
Quoted on your line count before we attend. Travel within our coverage areas is part of the price, not an extra.
We count and value stock for the businesses that keep British high streets running: corner shops, off licences, Post Office branches, licensed premises and the warehouses that supply them.
Whether you are buying or selling a business and need abusiness transfer stocktake, preparing figures for your accountant with ayear end stocktake, or tracking shrinkage across a shop with aretail stock count, the method is the same: every line counted, nothing estimated, and a written valuation in your hands before we leave. Tell us where you are and what kind of premises it is, and we will come back with a fixed price.

Read moreWhen a business changes hands, the stock figure is often the last thing standing between the two parties and completion. A figure produced by either side invites argument. A figure produced by someone with no interest in the sale does not.
The same holds at year end. An evidenced, independently produced stock valuation is far easier to stand behind if your accounts are ever queried than a figure assembled in-house the week before the deadline.

We attend your premises, count every line of stock, and produce a valuation you can give to an accountant, a solicitor or the other party in a sale. Being independent is the point: neither side has influence over the figure, so both can rely on it.
We quote a fixed price before attending, based on the number of distinct lines you carry rather than the floor area. A small convenience store costs considerably less than a wide-range deli of the same size. There are no hidden extras and travel within our coverage areas is included.
The valuation is issued the same day as the count. For business transfers that matters, because solicitors are usually working to a completion date rather than a convenient one.
We count stock across the United Kingdom, with established coverage in eight cities and the towns around them. If your town is not listed, call us with the postcode and we will tell you honestly whether we can attend.
